Wellfest 23' Queenstown NYE Wellness Festival

Come celebrate an epic NYE camping dress up party you wont forget!

Located on the tranquil scenic riverside location on the Karawau River, this is a community camping festival is to celebrate health, wellness and to the end of the year!
With an epic line up of Dj's, live music, dance, sauna, games, cold plunge, workshops + more, we invite you to bring along your high vibe costumes and anything you'd like to contribute to the festival. Come self sufficient for a day (or 3) to connecting with nature, friends and have a good time!

This family friendly, 3 day 2 night camping experience only happens once a year. With a line up of Dj's from around the country, this is your chance to be part of a growing community that has a focus on community and connection.

Children under 13y/o are free.

If intension is to drink too much, then this event is not for you. Drunken or intoxicated behaviour is gross and will not be tolerated, and you may be asked to leave without a refund. Don't be that person, moderation is key. Keep it cool.

Please be conscious of the environment when it comes to costumes. Please avoid glitter as it's a mission to pick up...
Feel free to decorate your campsite. Just remember to leave no trace once you've finished and to leave it how you found it.
We are a pack in, pack out event, meaning that you take all of your rubbish with you.

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?:

Please bring along your ID to check against ticket.

Come prepared to be fully self sufficient.There are no food vendors on site. This means BYO food and drink.
It is encouraged that you come prepared for the duration of your stay without the need to leave. New World is the closest supermarket 7 mins away, so grab what you need before you arrive. Coming and going is discouraged as we want to keep traffic to a minimum.

For those who arn't camping:
Treat it like a picnic in the middle of nowhere. Bring you own plates, bowels, utensils etc. There is a pizza oven and communal BBQ you can use for the day if you don't have cooking facilities. Bring a chilly bin with all of your food and drink to keep it cool, including ice. And a bag with a change of warm/dry clothes incase the weather decides to turn. Don't forget sunscreen, hat and sunnies too!

We provide toilets and water on site.

If you are going to Sauna...

- x2 Towels. One for the sauna and one for drying yourself with.
- A water bottle.

These are essential if you want a sweat.

- Clothes for all weathers
- Costume
- Tent
- Anything you'd like to contribute to the festival vibes.
- Yoga mat/ cushion / camping chair
- Medication (if required). If you have a health concern, please let a team member know.

We have a NO DOG policy so please leave them at home.

HOW DO I GET THERE?:

59 Boyd Road, Kawarua Falls, Queenstown
(Next to Remarkables ski-field turn off)

Please follow the road cones at the end of Boyd Road with your ticket ready to be checked at the gate. No ticket, no entry.
You will be checked in, given a wrist band, and directed to park from there by one of the team.

SAFETY:

Please read and understand the terms and conditions before purchasing a ticket. Make us aware of any health concerns you have prior to entering the sauna. Your safety is our priority so work with us to make your experience is a pleasant one. If you have any questions, please don't hesitant to ask.

If you are going to swim in the river please enter at your own risk. We do not promote the use of the river and have no jurisdiction over it - however we cannot stop you from using it. The main safety concern are boats - Make yourself seen and swim in pairs. Keep in mind that if you go from the sauna to the cold water too fast, you can feel dizzy. This is normal and will subside. Children are to be supervised at all times.

TIMETABLE:

Sauna is a first in first served. There will be a whiteboard where you write your name to reserve your hour of sweat. There will be two groups of 8 cycling through 2 rounds of sauna (1hr). This will be running from 9am - 9pm. Naked hour will happen on dark.

Workshops will be happening throughout the day. There is an opportunity to offer up your own offerings. Write your name up on the big whiteboard and share your knowledge.

REFUNDS:

Full refunds are available up to 7 days prior which you can do this yourself via Humanitix.
