The B Corp logo is a simple symbol, but it sends a powerful message. This B Corp Month, join us for an engaging panel discussion with B Corp‑certified businesses from across different sectors, each sharing how they have challenged the status quo and redefined what “better business” looks like.
While every B Corp looks different, this panel will explore the common commitment behind the symbol: doing business in a way that is better for people, the planet, and the long term. Through honest reflections and practical examples, the discussion will highlight how these organisations have embedded purpose and accountability into their business models, differentiated themselves within their industries, and used the B Corp framework as a tool for continuous improvement.

Panelists
Anne-Marie Chisnall
Anne-Marie is Deputy Chief Executive and Head of Write Online at Write Group, a plain language consultancy, certified B Corp, and home of the WriteMark®. Write believes in using the power of words for good. Their people advocate for clear and accessible communication, working with government and business clients here and around the world.
Lorietta Bahr
Lori is the Sustainability Manager at Lion New Zealand. She has also led Healthy Hospo since 2020, a not-for-profit initiative supporting the physical and mental wellbeing of hospitality workers. Outside of work, she’s an avid landscape/adventure photographer and passionate advocate for protecting the natural environment.
Kate Bezar
Kate Bezar has spent her career proving that purpose and profit belong together. In her twenties she left management consulting to found a magazine built on circular economy principles before the term had even been coined. In 2018 she co-founded Better Packaging Co. a B Corp (since 2020) on a mission to use packaging to combat pollution, poverty, and climate change. Today, as Head of Brand & Impact, Kate has helped build a company that puts impact first and now counts Australia Post, Glassons, Assembly Label and even the Cleveland Cavaliers as brand partners.
Ewan Brown
Ewan Brown is a Director and Architect at Tennent Brown Architects, New Zealand’s first B Corp‑certified architecture practice. He works at the intersection of architecture, sustainability, and governance, with a focus on helping practices and clients move from intention to measurable climate action.
Panel Facilitator: Whitney Teluk
As Programs Manager at B Lab Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand, Whitney oversees a portfolio of programs and training offerings that support businesses on their B Corp journey. Over the past 12 months, a key focus of this work has been designing and delivering learning initiatives to help current and aspiring B Corps understand and prepare for the new B Lab Standards.
