Step into the past at this important site, built in the 1860s as part of the Old Wellington Police Station & Gaol complex, which served as a lock-up until the early 1890s and stands as the second oldest gaol west of the Blue Mountains, housing prisoners under harsh colonial conditions and echoing Australia's early law enforcement history.
