Join us for Wellington's Walk for Mental Health, a 12-hour walk around the iconic Basin Reserve in Wellington, New Zealand on Saturday 15th February 2024!
By participating in Wellington's Walk for Mental Health you will be raising vital funds for the Samaritans of Wellington, the Lifting the Lid on Youth Mental Health Project, and other nominated mental health organisations operating in Wellington.
The event promises to be a fun day out for all, with a range of activities and entertainment on offer.

Once registered please set up your Givealittle page to raise funds for your chosen charity from those nominated on Wellington's Walk for Mental Health website.
Who will be involved?
The Samaritans of Wellington, Rotary Clubs and their key project, ‘Lifting the Lid on Youth Mental Health,’ mental health organisations in Wellington, Cricket Wellington, Corporates and general members of the Wellington public. It is an especially great opportunity for families to participate together.
The event:
The event will run from 8am to 8pm Saturday 15th February and we hope to have it officially opened by the Minister for Mental Health, the Hon Matt Doocey. The walk will take place around the inner oval using the concrete walkway keeping clear of the playing grassed arena. Participants can walk for any length of time, short or long during the 12-hour period and some businesses or groups are planning a 12-hour relay team.
Official prizegiving:
Shortly after the 8pm closing time on Saturday evening we will have a celebrity close the event and award some spot prizes for fancy dress teams, individuals or meritorious participation.
