WellSafe Workshop - May 16

Price $150 AUD + BF Get tickets

Event description

This 2-hour face-to-face workshop has been designed to educate employers, OHS, HR professionals and staff about new workplace wellbeing changes in South Australia. It is brought to you by Smith and Wellness (specialists in workplace mental health, and a member organisation of the Mental Fitness Movement), and TEACH Services, a charity that supports domestic and family violence (DV) survivors.

Our WellSafe workshop centres on DV and its connection with workplace challenges, coercive control, bullying and harassment. It also dives into new South Australian wellbeing guidelines and how these changes will impact you and your organisation.

Do you know...?

  • How to build a healthy and safe environment at work, in line with the Australian Code of Practice in Managing Psychosocial Hazards?
  • What changes were made to the Equal Opportunity (Domestic Abuse) Amendment Act in September 2023?
  • What is on the horizon for the new Criminal Law Consolidation (Coercive Control) Amendment Bill and how this will impact your workplace?

If you are in the NDIS sector or support people with disabilities, your role carries a heightened responsibility. These clients are statistically twice as likely to encounter domestic and family violence, and therefore, it is imperative that your team is well-informed and actively compliant with protocols that protect and empower this vulnerable group.

Be at the forefront of positive workplace and social change, and register today for an upcoming WellSafe Workshop!
