West African Dance with Lou Wang

This all-inclusive West African Dance class will be facilitated by Melbourne dancer Lou Wang. The class will be supported by LIVE DRUMMING, brought by the Hills African Dance musicians Djulz, Jordan, Kosta and Luca. Lou's warm and vibrant energy creates a wonderful and light-hearted atmosphere for an accessible introduction to the dynamic and ancient movements of traditional West African dance. 

With a combined experience of decades in the West African rhythm and movement traditions, we can't wait to involve more of our community in the rich tapestry of what the diaspora has to offer Western people. This class is open for young ones from the age of twelve up.
