Event description

Northern Illawarra Dance Company and Elemental Grooves present monthly West African drum and dance classes.

The classes will be held on the 4th Sunday of the month at the Woonona / Bulli Youth Club.

The classes are open to people 15yrs - adult.

Founded in the traditions of Guinea, West Africa come and learn rhythms and dances with Damion from Elemental Grooves. Damion has over 20 years experience teaching and facilitating fun and energetic classes and workshops.

Damion studies with Master Griot Epizo Bangoura and has developed a passion and dedication to learning and sharing this unique cultural art form.

These classes are all inclusive.

Djembes provided.
