West Art is excited to announce a benefit show for Music For Everyone! Headlining the stage is Lancaster's own Big Fat Meanies. Voted “Best Rock Band” in Central Pennsylvania, Big Fat Meanies offers a high-octane dose of horn-driven progressive rock with each impressive performance. The independent eight-piece ensemble hailing from Lancaster, Pennsylvania, wields an on-stage energy that can only be matched by their catalog of exhilarating songwriting. Drawing inspiration from genres of all nature – including pop, punk, funk, metal, ska, and even musical theatre - Big Fat Meanies’ signature episodic songwriting archetype blends the varied musical backgrounds of each member in perfect harmony. 

Joining them are youth musicians from Music For Everyone's sound factory. Music For Everyone is a Lancaster-based non-profit that exists to cultivate the power of music as an educational and community wellbeing tool to transform lives, schools, and communities in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. The Sound Factory ensemble is a part of their 'In-The-Schools' initiative, where qualified music instructors provide music education support to Lancaster County music students.

What to expect at the show:

>> Doors will open at 1:30. The show will start at 2:00 pm.

>> Adult tickets are $12, and student tickets are $5 in advance. Tickets at the door will be $15 for adults and $8 for students. if not sold out. As always, we’re proud to present an all-ages show!

>> Parking is available on the street around F&M College. We suggest finding a spot on the park side of Buchanan Ave, Race Ave, or College Ave (North of Buchanan). Thank you for helping us be good neighbors!

>> Format: This show will be a mix of seating and standing in City Hall. Our space is ADA accessible, and we will do our best to accommodate any specific needs.

>> If you haven't yet discovered the magic of the West Art Coffee⚡Bar, now's your chance! We're open from 7 am-10 pm daily, with a full and delicious espresso bar menu, along with a lovely selection of beer, wine, and cocktails, plenty of N/A options, and some tasty bites from our favorite local bakeries. Something for everyone, all day long! Come hang out before the show and experience it for yourself!
