West Art Welcomes Cris Jacobs and Seth Walker!

West Art is excited to announce that Cris Jacobs and Seth Walker are coming to town!

Seth Walker is a revered modern Americana artist; a three dimensional talent combining a gift for melody and lyric alongside a rich, Gospel-drenched, Southern-inflected voice with a true blue knack for getting around on the guitar. Currently residing in Asheville after stints living in Nashville, New Orleans and Austin, he’s used those experiences wisely, soaking up the sounds and absorbing the musical lineage of these varied places.

From Baltimore comes Cris Jacobs — an unexpectedly gritty soul-blues singer and guitarist with outlaw country ethos. Blending a variety of musical traditions, Jacobs creates a distinctive voice and sound of his own punctuated by emotive songwriting and explosive guitar playing. Equally at home playing heartfelt Americana ballads or funky blues rockers, Jacobs is known for his mesmerizing live shows, where his improvisational guitar playing, powerhouse band, and deep reservoir of songs make each night a unique experience.

These two are ready to make their mark at West Art, so join us for an evening of special moments, plenty of stories, and songs that leave you feeling like you're exactly where you need to be.

What to expect at the show:

>> Doors will open at 6:30 pm. The show will start at 7:30 pm.

>> Tickets are $30 in advance, and $35 at the door if not sold out. As always, we’re proud to present an all-ages show!

>> Parking is available on the street around F&M College. We suggest finding a spot on the park side of Buchanan Ave, Race Ave, or College Ave (North of Buchanan). Thank you for helping us be good neighbors!

>> Format: This will be a seated show in The Sanctuary. Our space is ADA accessible, and we will do our best to accommodate any specific needs.

>>The Art Bar is open daily from 7 am to 10 pm with a full espresso menu, beer, wine, cocktails, N/A drinks, and tasty bites from local bakeries. Come settle in before the show, and linger after for a nightcap!
