West Art Welcomes Illiterate Light with Alexander Supertramp!

West Art is excited to announce that Illiterate Light is coming to Lancaster! Hailing from the Shenandoah Valley, It’s dangerous to put Illiterate Light in a box, especially with the release of their new album, Arches. Are they a guitar-driven indie rock duo? Kaleidoscopic neo-psychedelia? Synth-kissed, harmony-ladenfolk? These prolific farmers-turned-rockers have captured the energy of their live shows—fanscrowd-surfing, moshing, crying, and crooning—and infused it into their latest release. And they're ready to share it all on our City Hall stage!

Opening the night is Alexander Supertramp, an intimate indie project built around raw emotion, atmosphere, and a longing for human connection. Haunting vocals drift through cinematic soundscapes that feel simultaneously isolated and expansive, like a search for meaning somewhere between wilderness and memory.

What to expect at the show:

>> Parking is available on the street around F&M College. We suggest finding a spot on the park side of Buchanan Ave, Race Ave, or College Ave (North of Buchanan). Thank you for helping us be good neighbors!

>> Format: This concert will be a standing room show in City Hall with limited reserved balcony seating available for purchase. Our space is ADA accessible, and we will do our best to accommodate any specific needs.

>>The Art Bar is open daily from 7 am to 10 pm with a full espresso menu, beer, wine, cocktails, N/A drinks, and tasty bites from local bakeries. We will also have food vendors on site, and there are great restaurants within walking distance. Come settle in before the show, and linger after for a nightcap!
