West Coast Swing is a partner dance style that can be danced to a huge variety of music: pop, R&B, blues, hip hop, funk, k-pop and much more!
We have the pleasure of hosting Brady and Janine from toniq dance for 4 amazing workshops all in one day!
Never danced West Coast Swing before? Not a problem! This day is beginner-friendly and will help you get started and is suitable for anyone; no prior experience required. Have been dancing for a while? This will take your dancing to another level!
About your Instructors
Janine Stanton
A quiet achiever but a past pioneer of West Coast Swing in Melbourne - studio owner, social glue, international event coordinator - Janine Stanton is delighted to return to regular teaching & promotion of West Coast Swing in Melbourne, especially in the city’s outer east.
Passionate about the development of the Dance and community, Janine loves social dancing. Her dancing style is described as fluid & grounded, always accompanied by a beaming smile.
Brady Stanton
Renowned for his precise lines and footwork, creative patterns and musicality, Brady Stanton is one of Australasia's finest West Coast Swing technicians and teachers; a teacher of teachers, and the most sought after West Coast Swing professional at studios and events across Australia, New Zealand & Southeast Asia for many years prior to his “retirement” in 2018 (when he became a Dad). Brady has always made learning to Dance EASY and FUN!!!
