Haileybury proudly present the 2026 Senior School musical, West Side Story School Edition.

A modern retelling of Romeo and Juliet, the musical is set in 1950s New York City. It follows Tony, a former gang member determined to change his future, and Maria, the sister of a rival gang leader. Despite belonging to opposing groups—the Jets and the Sharks—the two fall deeply in love, with powerful and tragic consequences. Recommended for ages 12+. Parental guidance advised due to adult themes.

The run time is around 2 hours and 50 minutes, including a 20 minute interval.
