West Village Chorale 2024 "Messiah" Sing
Event description
**PLEASE NOTE THAT OUR ADVANCE BOX OFFICE IS NOW CLOSED, BUT THERE ARE PLENTY OF TICKETS AVAILABLE AT THE DOOR!**
Hallelujah! The holidays are here and that means the West Village Chorale's "Messiah" Sing is back!
Our annual open sing of this holiday classic, which has been featured everywhere from the CBS Evening News to the Wall Street Journal, is a four-decade tradition and one of the most popular Sings in the city!
This year we are thrilled to welcome to the podium conductor Patrick Gardner, Director of the Riverside Choral Society and Distinguished Professor Emeritus of Rutgers University's Mason Gross School of the Arts, where he was also the Director of Choral Activities. Our regular Summer Singers also know him as our long-time "closer"!
We’ll provide you with the score (or bring your own!), the conductor, and the pianist, as we sing popular choruses from Handel’s beloved oratorio.
Come make a joyful noise with us!
