Join the Western Australian Agritourism Association for our Annual Field Day as we explore some of the Busselton and Capel region’s standout agritourism destinations. Designed specifically for agritourism farmers, operators, and industry supporters, this immersive day offers direct insights into property diversification, visitor experiences, and local farm operations.

What’s Included:

· Bus transportation: departing from Busselton

· Exclusive Farm Tours: Behind-the-scenes visits to Sunflower Animal Farm and Capel Avocados.

· Networking Lunch & Tasting: A relaxed lunch paired with wine tasting at Kellivale Winery.

· Peer Networking: Opportunities to connect, share knowledge, and collaborate with fellow operators throughout the day. WAAA AGM meeting.

Ticket price includes full-day transport between venues, host presentations, morning tea stop, lunch, and wine tasting.

We are a member-based association, driven by a shared passion for promoting the unique experiences and diverse offerings of our state’s agricultural sector.

Our History:

The Western Australia Agritourism Association was founded in 2024 by three passionate individuals: John Stanley of Chestnut Brae Farm in Nannup, Jan Stewart of Forage Safaris in Busselton, and Andy Burns of Scott Aussie Tourism Marketing in Manjimup. They recognised the potential of agritourism to contribute to the economic and social well-being of rural communities and set out to create a platform for collaboration and growth within the industry.

What We Do:

The Western Australia Agritourism Association actively supports its members and the broader agritourism industry through a range of activities:

Advocacy: We represent the interests of our members to government and other stakeholders, advocating for policies that support the growth and development of agritourism.
Networking: We organise events and provide platforms for members to connect with each other, share ideas, and learn from industry experts.
Education & Training: We offer training programs, workshops, and resources to help members improve their businesses and gain new skills, equipping them with the tools they need to succeed in the agritourism sector.
Marketing & Promotion: We promote agritourism experiences in Western Australia to potential visitors through marketing campaigns, partnerships, and collaborations with tourism organisations.
Events & Activities: We organise events and activities for both our members and the general public, showcasing the diversity and beauty of Western Australia’s agritourism offerings.
