Western Australian Model UN
Event description
WAMUN 2025 (Western Australian Model United Nations) is a dynamic, youth-led conference that brings together passionate high school and university students to simulate the workings of the United Nations.
Over two days, delegates will represent UN member states, debate global issues, and negotiate resolutions — building public speaking, diplomacy, and problem-solving skills in a collaborative environment.
No previous experience is required, and participants will receive training and resources in advance. Delegates will be placed in one of two committees:
UNGA – Disinformation During Armed Conflicts
UNHRC – Refugee Protection in the Mediterranean
Whether you're a seasoned MUNer or just curious about global affairs, WAMUN 2025 is a place to learn, grow, and connect.
