Western Australian Teaching and Learning Forum 2024
Event description
The WATLF2024 will be hosted by The University of Western Australia, and has been a joint initiative of Curtin University, Edith Cowan University, Murdoch University, The University of Notre Dame Australia, and The University of Western Australia for 33 years.
The Forum is a conference for participants across the Western Australian universities to build connections, share ideas, showcase efforts, network and continue to learn. Other people interested in higher education are welcome to attend, including students and staff at our remote, regional and transnational campuses.
The theme of Shocks and Solutions in Higher Education provides us with the opportunity to have open discussions about how our university communities are solving shocks caused by the use and misuse of AI, the lingering aftereffects post-pandemic, and the underinvestment in universities and fiscal constraints placed on teaching and service delivery.
We look forward to seeing you at the WATLF2024 where we continue the tradition of bringing together educators from across the higher education sector to share, challenge and develop their ideas about teaching and learning.
