Event description

The WATLF2025 will again be hosted by The University of Western Australia, and is a joint initiative of Curtin University, Edith Cowan University, Murdoch University, The University of Notre Dame Australia, and The University of Western Australia for 34 years.

The Forum is a conference for participants across Western Australian universities to build connections, share ideas, showcase efforts, network and continue to learn. All people interested in higher education are welcome to attend, including students and staff at our remote, regional and transnational campuses.

The theme of Future-Focused Education; Innovation, Inclusion and Impact provides the opportunity to discuss how our university communities can support one another with navigating various Modes of Learning, AI Enabled Higher Education, and student-centred issues such as student Belonging, Employability and Sustainable Citizenship.

We look forward to seeing you at the WATLF2025 where we continue the tradition of bringing together educators from across the higher education sector to share, challenge and develop their ideas about teaching and learning.
