Description

Western Sydney, Business Women Australia Boardroom Lunch - Confidence, Capital & Financial Positioning

A Boardroom Conversation for Western Sydney C-Suite and Women in Finance

Join Business Women Australia, in partnership with BDO Western Sydney, for a meaningful boardroom roundtable focused on capital readiness, risk, and different credit facilities - what is needed to access funding, structure for growth, and present financially resilient businesses in today’s lending environment.

This is not a seminar. It is a facilitated boardroom dialogue combining expert insight with meaningful peer conversation.

Designed for women in finance and business, including CFOs, Finance Managers, Company Accountants, Analysts, Commercial Lawyers, advisers, and senior executives across diverse industries (from manufacturing, logistics, transport, wholesale, and private enterprise)—this Roundtable discussion will explore both the technical and leadership dimensions of accessing capital.

Hosted by Monica Lei, Director at BDO Western Sydney together with BWA Sydney Leader, Roni Millard, and a senior commercial banker, this conversation will explore the commercial lending landscape, different lending pathways, facility options, and requirements. We will delve into both the accounting and commercial banking perspectives.

Facilitated Boardroom Dialogue

Join this boardroom roundtable discussion to share experiences and knowledge. We will explore the challenges and opportunities facing Western Sydney commercial enterprises, touching on capital, growth, compliance, and environment.

This Chatham House conversation will be facilitated and grounded in Business Women Australia’s conscious leadership framework, inviting candid reflection, strategic thinking, and peer confidential exchange.

Who Should Attend

Senior women in business, finance, and advisory roles across Western Sydney. This is a cross-industry and multi-sector conversation, and we invite all women from a broad range of areas to join the conversation.

Seats are limited to ensure depth of conversation and meaningful connection, ensuring every voice has the opportunity to be heard at the table.

Special thanks to Monica Lei and the team at BDO Western Sydney for hosting this inaugural Business Women Australia Boardroom Roundtable in Parramatta.

Working Lunch Provided, with thanks to our hosts at BDO Australia.

Roni Millard is a wellbeing and performance consultant, speaker, author, and mentor, and the Founder of The Wellbeing Edge. With more than 30 years’ experience in senior corporate leadership roles across professional services and complex organisational environments, Roni brings both commercial credibility and human insight to her work.
