Join us in the foothills of iconic Glacier National Park to experience film, music, workshops, story-sharing, friend-making, community bonding and one-of-a-kind immersive experiences to shift the senses.
Building on the creative energy and community sparked by Project Winterland, Westland Impact Festival carries that same heart into a new season.
Westland is an evolution, not a reinvention. A continuation of a vision shaped through hundreds of gatherings and shared moments.
A New Standard in Live Event Production
Perhaps our most historic achievement: We will power our 3-day festival using solar energy—3 x 14-hour days across four venues—by deploying a suite of transportable batteries provided by our partner, New Use Energy (NUE). The batteries will be trucked directly from an event at Google in San Francisco to Whitefish. Battery charging will not rely on the grid; it will be powered by our on-site Festival Solar Pavilion. Local solar company, Northstone Solar, is providing the panels.
Westland will not only be a multicultural, content-rich, entertaining, and educational top-tier connecting experience — it will be a living demonstration project showing what's possible.

Crystal Cross, written and directed by Richie James Follin (Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, The Science of Sleep, This Means War), award winning American musician, writer, actor, filmmaker, and a proud citizen of the Cherokee Nation.
Big Mountain Soul - Ski Africa
Big Mountain Soul - Ski Africa, co-directed by Brendan Russo & Cameron Sale (Breckenridge, CO local), produced by Jonathan Correia and John M. O’Connor, the film delivers high-intensity adventure with cultural depth.
The Liars of Black Mountain Road
The Liars of Black Mountain Road, directed by Parker Croft (As Easy As Closing your Eyes, Suncatcher), written by Parker Croft and Nolan Gould (Modern Family), with executive producers Abigail Breslin, (Little Miss Sunshine) and Elisa Croft (Suncatcher), is a story where a couple competes for the moral high ground at any cost.
Bright Harvest: Powering Earth From Space
Bright Harvest: Powering Earth From Space, produced by philanthropist and Caltech trustee Brigitte Bren and written, directed, and produced by Steven Reich — tells the story of three Caltech professors whose decade-long collaboration led to the world's first successful demonstration of wireless power transmission from space to Earth in 2023.
The Water Keepers
The Water Keepers, directed by Daniel Glick and produced by tribal members Robert McDonald and Casey Ryan, is a documentary that offers a revealing look at a group of tribal field technicians who laid the groundwork for one of the largest American Indian water settlements in history and honors the work of tribal scientists, technicians, and elders while showcasing the importance of, and dedication to, protecting natural resources.
Farmer's Daughter
Farmer’s Daughter, directed by Melissa Bloom (Adult Swim’s Robot Chicken and David O’Russell’s American Hustle), founder of The Sisters Bloom, an eco-conscious stop-motion animation studio in Kalispell, Montana.
Unmuted
Unmuted, is a docuseries directed by Dena Hysell-Cornejo and Gil Marsden, and executive producers Charlotte Lubert, Ariel White, and Daniel Lubert, with interviews led by Constance Wu (Crazy Rich Asians), Marie Avgeropoulos (The 100), and Torrey DeVitto (Chicago Med). Unmuted follows individuals and communities reclaiming their voices after conflict and systemic silencing.
Greenfield
Greenfield, produced and directed by Rob Herring (The Need To Grow, Farmacy of Light, Let Them Be Naked), is an intimate look into the mind and mission of Robin Greenfield, who challenges what it means to live in harmony with the Earth. His radical simplicity invites us to question what we truly need to be free, fulfilled, and human.
No Greater Act: Pueblo Resistance
No Greater Act: Pueblo Resistance, directed by David Aubrey, written by Maura Dhu Studi, narrated by Wes Studi, is a groundbreaking documentary by Silver Bullet Productions that tells the fascinating story of Indigenous resistance to Spanish colonization of New Mexico. The foundation for methods of resistance today, this is not a history of Pueblos, nor the Pueblo Revolt, but an account of early resistance.

Sterling Drake
Sterling Drake is an Americana and honky-tonk artist whose music feels carved from the wide-open spaces of the American West—dusty roads, mountain horizons, and stories carried on the wind. Blending country, folk, and roots traditions, Sterling writes songs that are unhurried, honest, and deeply connected to land, labor, and the human experience. There’s a lived-in quality to his sound—equal parts grit and grace. His voice carries the weight of tradition while remaining unmistakably his own, rooted in classic country storytelling and shaped by a life spent moving through the landscapes he sings about. That authenticity has earned him recognition within the genre, including being named Male Honky Tonk Artist of the Year by the Ameripolitan Awards—a testament to his place within the lineage of traditional country music. Katels
Katels is an indie folk artist from western Montana. She indulges her curiosity for the natural world through poetry and sound, exploring songwriting through a narrative voice that fuses together wild and personal lyricism. Her new album, Calliope, is inspired by the steam organ, the hummingbird, and the Muse of poetry, herself.
Rylee Mix
Hi There! Let me introduce myself. My name is Rylee Mix. I was born and raised in a small, North-Central California, agriculture town; where I spent all of my time learning about the outdoors, playing every sport you can think of, and my personal favorite, performing. However, between family living in North-Western Montana and needing a change of pace, in 2021, I made the move to the Flathead Valley. I started my music journey in the spring of 2023 and by fall of that year, I decided to take the leap into making it my full-time career. With little to no knowledge of the market, running a business, etc., I chose to bet on myself. All I knew was my fiery passion and ambition for the art of songwriting and performing, which still stands true today. Pursuing music has introduced me to amazing people, genuine friendships and hard lessons learned. All of which I am eternally grateful for. Which leads me to express my gratitude to all of you. Your support and encouragement is what allows me to continue building Rylee Mix Music. For that I say from the bottom of my heart - THANK YOU.
