Westmead Parkinson's Education Day

Join us for an informative Parkinson’s disease patient education event featuring Neurosurgeon Dr Jacqui McMaster and Neurologist A/Prof Neil Mahant.

This session will provide practical, easy-to-understand information about Parkinson’s disease, treatment options and considerations as symptoms change over time. Our specialists will discuss the roles of both neurology and neurosurgery in Parkinson’s care, including when advanced treatment options may be considered.

You will also hear from our physiotherapist, speech pathologist and dietitian, who will share therapies to help you manage Parkinson's symptoms.

There will also be an opportunity to hear directly from the specialists and ask questions in a supportive and welcoming environment.

This event is suitable for people living with Parkinson’s disease, as well as their families, carers and support networks.
