Sun, 4 May, 11am - 4pm AEST

Event description

Wet felting is a versatile craft that involves the process of using a combination of friction/agitation, soap and water to make felt out of wool fibres to create soft yet sturdy objects.

In this workshop, you'll explore the art of wet felting and learn various techniques to craft a decorative vessel/bowl.

Wet felting is all about sculpting with wool and once you understand the process, you can easily recreate it at home.

From pouches and jewellery to hats and clothing, the creative possibilities are limitless!

All materials are included in the price of this workshop, including wool roving and decorative yarns making this an ideal class for beginners who want to get started in felting but are daunted by what to buy or the initial outlay.

Class size is limited to enable loads of one on one teaching time and enough space to create at your own pace.

Tea/Coffee/Water is provided along with some treats but please do bring your own lunch.

The soap used in the workshop is low allergenic but if you do have extra sensitive skin you are welcome to bring your own - liquid is best but a bar will do.

If you are unwell please stay home and look after yourself. I am more than happy to give you a refund.
