Please join Marie for a personal perspective on the role art plays in shaping the future. Contemporary Mixed Media and Textile Artist, Marie Mitchell, will share the inspiration and stories behind the artworks in the gallery. You will discover how what began with a move to downsize became a two-year project to collect and illustrate local stories from the Peel Region. Marie will also share some of the processes used to create the works.
