Wetland Stories: Celebrate the Story of Reclaiming the Dunes from Bouvard Coast Care

Bouvard Coastcare was started by a band of thoughtful residents 30 years ago. The volunteer group looks after 17km of dunal system from the Dawes Cut to the southern city border, in conjunction with the City of Mandurah. This presentation is the story of the challenges faced and the achievements over our long history and their importance for the climate change issues of today.

Textile and mixed media artist, Marie Mitchell will be on hand to provide a short tour of the exhibition highlighting some of the stories that inspired the artists' works in particular the work that features members of Bouvard Care Group at work. See less
