Volunteer - Connect with Your Local Plants, Wetlands, and Bushland

    FREE EVENT!

    About This Event:

Are you eager to connect to your local plants, wetlands and bush? Learn about wetlands and wildflowers by volunteering at The Wetlands Centre in Cockburn. In this information session, you will learn all the ways you can apply your eco-passion.

Discover the diverse range of volunteer opportunities available at The Wetlands Centre and how you can best assist the Nursery, Gardens and Bushland! As a volunteer, you can play a vital role in nurturing the environment and growing our wonderful flora species. Whether you're interested in hands-on work or prefer a more behind-the-scenes role, we have something for everyone.

Get your hands dirty by growing cuttings, seeds, or tube up struck cuttings of wetland and wildflower species, or choose to get your knees dirty by digging or pulling weeds and planting plants in gardens and bushland. But that's not all - we also have administrative positions and volunteering opportunities for gardening events and horticulture education.

Join us and be a part of the movement to conserve our precious environment.

Don't hesitate - get involved by attending our upcoming information session to learn more about how you can contribute and make a difference.

    Light refreshments will be provided.

    Sessions will be held at:

    The Wetlands Centre Cockburn
    184 Hope Road, Bibra Lake

If you decide to become a volunteer at The Wetlands Centre, we will provide formal training, including propagation, plant care, and an introduction to your local ecosystems.

    Requirements:
