Thank you for booking on mountain accomodation for Whakapapa Freeride Fest 2026! It's gonna be a great couple days and we are super excited to have you along! As listed in the event description, this booking includes:

TWO NIGHTS at one of the RMCA Lodges on Whakapapa skifield (Oct 5th - 6th). If you need to book accomodation for the Sunday (4/10) or Wednesday (7/10) you can email olliebunniemusic@gmail.com to request and extended booking
Breakfast & Dinner provided by your assigned lodges custodian.
Access to after dark activities hosted at the UASC lodge.

NOTE: This booking DOES NOT include day passes for the ski field or rental equipment. You can find the link to book day passes below.

Here are a few things you need to know before October 5th & 6th.

RMCA lodge information:

On September 28th you will receive a second email with information about the lodge/bunk you have been assigned, a map of the skifield and lodges, set times, and stage locations for live music as well as any other necessary information.
Parking is free. If you have any issues with parking or finding your assigned lodge, call 02109051249.
Other than the UASC lodge (reserved for after dark activities), the on mountain accomodation is a place to rest and recover from a day on the slopes. Please respect the space and the people you are sharing it with.

What you need:

Sleeping: The lodges will provide a single bunk and a mattress. Make sure to bring a sleeping bag, pillow, an extra blanket, and hot water bottle if you get extra cold!
Winter gear: The maunga is COLD. It's important to bring thermals, gloves, head cover, warm and waterproof layers and appropriate ski equipment. (NOTE: Rental equipment for the ski field is NOT included in this booking).
Safety: Whakapapa can be a hard place to navigate after dark. Make sure to bring a flashlight, phone charger, and other personal safety equipment. Please be safe when navigating between lodges after dark, do not walk alone.
Food & Drinks: Breakfast and dinner is provided, but it's important to have your own snacks! The after dark events are BYO so bring your own alcohol and drinks (Please drink responsibly).
