This October.. 13 Garrett Street, Whakapow & Whakapapa Ski Field present:

WHAKAPAPA FREERIDE FESTIVAL (WITH LIVE MUSIC). This is a two day event of competitions and live performances. Featuring Free ride and Rogue Run Contests as well as two days of Bands, Djs and more! Both during the day and after dark! 

Come through to the famous Whakapapa ski field, Mt Ruapehu on Monday Oct 5th to Tuesday Oct 6th for an incredible couple days up the Maunga for the end of the 2026 season. Learn more about the Lineup, competitions and Accommodation below!

Accomodation: 

The bookings will be live from September 11th until September 27th, and it will give the possibility to our music and mountain whanau to trial one of the RMCA mountain lodges for the nights around the event (from the 5th to the 7th of October).
The cost for two nights is $160. This includes a bunk in the RMCA lodge of your choice, breakfast, dinner, and access to our after dark events at the UASC lodge. NOTE: the lodges are the quiet places where to relax at the end of the day. UASC will be our music and boogie spot for those nights.

This booking DOES NOT include access to the ski field. Day passes will be sold separately.
