All are welcome to participate in another of our popular Yoga Kirtan retreats, an inspirational non-profit event, in the beautiful beachside township of Whangamata over Labour Weekend!

Begin your mornings with japa mala meditation, yoga for all levels, short inspirational yoga wisdom talks by Jagad Guru, mellow kirtan music meditation, and refreshments.

Your afternoons are free to enjoy bush walks, nature hikes to waterfalls, beaches, by yourself, or join a group of us as we go on a walk to one of these places (weather dependent).

The late afternoon sessions on the weekend include a 'Bring Your Own Instrument' Kirtan & Music Drumming Circle, Deep Peace relaxation and nourishing plant-based meals.

The evenings offer the experience of blissful, mellow music and the fun of upbeat kirtan music meditation - a chance to dance the night away, concluding with refreshments and an opportunity to connect with others.

Relax, rejuvenate and have fun! Bring friends / make friends, or recharge yourself. Please note: All dinners & refreshments provided at the retreat are vegetarian, plant-based & egg-free (with vegan and GF options available whenever possible).

$80 - Full Retreat Pass - Tickets purchased online before the retreat

$90 - Full Retreat Pass - on the door cash or EFTPOS

$40 - Full Retreat Pass Children's ticket ages 13 - 18

Children under 12 are free!

DAY PASSES:

$35 - Full day pass

Casual drop in (i.e. one morning / evening session) - by donation / koha

You can book online for the days you are attending or pay at the door.

Please note:

Accommodation is NOT included in this ticket price. A range of local accommodation options are available for visitors to the area, including camping and Airbnb. There is Marae style accommodation for women available at $15 a night, please contact us to book.

Meditation New Zealand has been offering these programs and events to the community for over 40 years in NZ.

It is not something you join or sign up for. We are non-sectarian; anyone can incorporate these wonderful ancient meditation methods into their daily life. Everyone is welcome, regardless of your spiritual journey or affiliation.
