“What can I do?” – A pilot participatory project to develop climate action information guidelines for people (65+).

Susanne Jones is undertaking a PhD research project through Flinders University with the title: "What can I do?” - A pilot participatory project to develop climate action information guidelines for people (65+).

Currently, there is no targeted information or guidelines on climate change and all types of climate actions for people (65+). Research has shown that it is important to identify what and how to provide this information to this age group. It is also important to consider information and delivery needs for people living in different locations (metropolitan, coastal and rural). At the end of the project, she hopes to present the information to the State Government as communication guidelines.

She is looking for participants (aged 65+) to evaluate information guidelines that have been developed in a series of workshops across metropolitan, coastal and rural locations.

This workshop will be held on the 23rd July 2025 between 10.00-1.00 at the Willunga Environment Centre.

The workshop format includes going through the information guideline draft that have been developed and completing an evaluation feedback form. A light Vegan lunch provided. Registration essential for catering purposes.
