Sarah
is an experienced marriage and funeral celebrant who values nurturing
relationships to create meaningful ceremonies that celebrate life and
love. Based in Christ-church, she has spent many years successfully training funeral and marriage celebrants with the Celebrants Training College. Sarah has been a CANZ member since 2011 and will lead you through 2 comprehensive modules. 1. Saying Goodbye: contact from the FD; what you need to know before saying yes; working alongside a family, gathering information, meeting their needs, the grief journey and what’s important to them. 2. Co-creating the ceremony, structure, content and order of service. Liaising with speakers, managing on-the-day, working alongside the FD, technology, music, slide-show; folder setup, timekeeping, pastoral care; facilitating and holding space plus Covid restrictions. | Julie
and Ross are Funeral Directors. Their company, Howard & Gannon
Funerals, has built an excellent reputation for providing the very best
funeral care to the families and local communities they serve. Their bright, modern premises includes Sugar Loaf Chapel that comfortably seats 160 people, current technology, plus a full range of products, services and facilities. Their culture is very much ‘team’ focussed. Their tutorial will comprehensively cover what happens from the first call received to laying a loved one to rest, together with sensitive and professional care of the bereaved family. We will also get a guided tour through their premises. Julie and Ross each bring rich and diverse backgrounds to their services and care at difficult times in people’s lives. | |
