🌿 ABOUT THIS CIRCLE

When was the last time you stopped to ask yourself: What nourishes me?

As women, so much of our time and energy goes towards our families, friendships, work, and the people we love. When life gets busy, caring for ourselves can quietly move to the bottom of the list.

Have you ever noticed what happens when you feel depleted? How it can affect not just how you feel within yourself, but also how you connect with others, your relationships, and the way you move through everyday life?

And even when we know what we need, what can make it difficult to choose it? What might get in the way of rest, joy, connection, space, or simply taking care of ourselves?

This October at Heartlines, we're inviting you to pause and explore What Nourishes Me?

Through playful activities, honest conversation, and guided reflection, we'll create space to notice what gives us energy, what leaves us depleted, and what might help us find a more sustainable balance between caring for ourselves and caring for others.

Everything is gently facilitated, and you're always free to participate at your own pace.

We believe the best way to know if Heartlines is right for you is to experience it, so your first session is completely free until November 2026, no strings attached.

For returning participants - $25 per person (Includes facilitation, tea, and light refreshments)

🌿 What Is Heartlines?

Heartlines is a monthly, facilitated women's circle held at Manningham Uniting Church and Community Centre — a space designed for genuine connection, reflection, and conversation beyond the everyday.

Each month explores a different theme, with sessions ranging from light and playful to a little more reflective, so there's always a natural place to start.

Facilitated by Anvita Bisaria, a community development practitioner with over a decade of experience creating safe, structured spaces for real conversation.

This isn't a therapeutic space, a psychological framework, or a spiritual practice. It's a grounded space for genuine connection — held clearly, gently, and without pressure. There's no expectation to fix, perform, or share beyond your comfort; you participate in whatever way feels right for you.

🌸 What happens in the 2 hours

We move through a simple, supported structure designed to help you connect, laugh, and find what you have in common:

Arrive, settle in, and ease into the space with a grounding activity.
Connect through light-hearted and playful activities that help everyone feel comfortable and at ease.
Explore the theme of What nourishes me through guided reflections and thoughtful prompts about life's transitions, uncertainty, and change.
Share your experiences in pairs and small groups in a supportive, environment created by us.
Discover the comfort, inspiration, and wisdom that emerge by sharing and listening to others
Close with tea, informal conversation, and an opportunity to continue connecting with other women.

Everything is clearly held, so you don't need to think about what comes next. You can simply arrive and participate at your own pace.

No experience is needed.

You don't need to prepare anything, have the "right" words, or arrive with everything figured out. Simply come as you are, we'll take care of the rest.
