This Chat will focus on choosing and using mentor texts during 1:1 conferences.
We will:
- Share a piece of writing by a young author.
- Name the strengths of the writer (craft, conventions and process).
- Discuss possible teaching points ('nudges') for this writer.
- Share a mentor text we could use for this conference.

A zoom link will be sent after registration has been processed. Please keep this link close by until 19th.
5-10 minutes prior to start time, use the link to go to Zoom.
You will be in the Waiting Room until the Chat starts.
We will email you a resource sheet about the Stacks we shared, and a Certificate of Participation after the webinar.
