Lyn Morgain, chief executive, Oxfam Australia

Lyn Morgain is the chief executive of Oxfam Australia where she oversees the delivery of a broad range of long-term development programs, advocacy campaigns and humanitarian responses. Lyn has spent her career advocating for the rights of structurally disadvantaged people and communities. She is passionate about peer-based activism and community mobilisation. Prior to her role at Oxfam Australia, Lyn was the chief executive of cohealth, a leading Australian community health organisation. She has been an executive leader in public policy advocacy, not-for-profit and local government organisations for several decades.

Professor Gemma Carey, national research director, Centre for Social Impact

Professor Gemma Carey is the Academic Director at the Centre for Social Impact UNSW, and the National Research Director for the CSI network. She works with governments and non-government organisations to identify and change structures and processes that impact inequality. She has worked extensively on joined-up government reforms and social service markets. Gemma’s current research is primarily focused on the implementation of the National Disability Insurance Scheme and market stewardship. She has published 4 books and over 80 journal articles on different aspects of policy and health.

Kasy Chambers, executive director, Anglicare Australia

Kasy Chambers is the Executive Director of Anglicare Australia. With extensive national experience in the government and community sector, Kasy has hands-on experience in policy, advocacy, government relations, service provision, community development, corporate governance and finance. She is a board director of Greenpeace Australia and Pacific and the Human Services Skills organisation. She was named as one of Canberra’s 100 most influential women in Canberra’s centennial celebrations and has also held positions with UnitingCare Australia, the Department of Family, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs and the YWCA of Canberra.
