Wheel Spin Brews – Take the challenge

Are you up for a brewing challenge? Join us for a fun day where four teams, with support from experienced brewers, spin the wheel to decide who gets which combination of hops, yeast and malt. You will be teamed up with four others to craft a beer with your team’s ingredients and spend the day brewing your masterpiece. Any experience level welcome, as we’ll be there to provide any assistance needed. Just bring your love of beer and thirst for a challenge.

On site at our production brewery, we will be using a range of small scale brewing equipment and our friends from Homebrew Works – Malaga will be on site to answer any of your question on brew supplies. All four beers will then be fermented at Impi Brewers and participants will each receive a mixed four pack of the beers from the brewery once they are ready. Time permitting, we’ll also run a 500L batch alongside so you can also experience the process on a commercial scale.

Impi’s Head Brewer, Jason, will be running the brewing challenge and bring his analytical chemistry, QC chemist and brewing training and experience, and the passion for home brewing that spanned the decade prior to him setting up Impi Brewers. And with only 20 tickets available, you’ll be able to pick Jason’s brain on all things beer and brewing throughout the day. 

We will also be providing you with a tasty BBQ feed (veg/vegan options too), your own 200ml Impi glass to take home and a beer on us at the end of the day.
