Wheels 4 Kai Fundraiser

Kai is a 15 year old young man who needs our help. When Kai was born he suffered multiple complications. He has profound disabilities – physical, mental and developmental. Kai is unable to care for himself and requires 24 hour care and attention.

Until now, Kai’s family have been able to provide everything that Kai needs, but the family now require a replacement vehicle to be able to get out into the community as a family. Kai has growing and changing needs and as a result a vehicle is required.

A Go Fund Me has been set up but it falls short of the target required to buy a second hand vehicle. The National Disability Insurance Scheme will undertake the modifications, but under the scheme the vehicle can only be less than 5 years old and a maximum of 80,000 km on the clock.
