When A Knight Jumps - Short Film Screening

The time has come for the premiere screening of our short film When a Knight Jumps. 

Come and join the cast, crew and friends in celebrating the event upstairs at the Ritz from 6 pm. 

At 7 pm sharp the film will be screened for all to enjoy. We hope to see you there! 

The film was made in partnership with Stepping Stone House which means this event is running as a pay-what-you-like for tickets, with all profits from the event being donated to young adults needing support. Thanks to our event sponsor EG. 

What is the film about? 

Written and Directed by Brittany Frappell as her debut short film; When a Knight Jumps stars an ensemble cast of talented Australian actors: Stephanie Di Giacomo, James Fraser, Danny Adcock, Maria Silva, Juliet Godwin, Jessica Saras, Mitchell Hardaker. 

When a Knight Jumps explores the dynamics of a wealthy family looking to pass down a trust to the oldest of the next generation, Charlie Ford. Charlie, still grieving the loss of her brother, battles the family's inner dynamics as she persists in finding a resolution to her grief through forgiveness. Can Charlie take on the responsibility her grandfather wishes to give her, or will she leave the family forever?
