Event description
Student engagement is not a new topic in higher education. No matter the recent advances and shifts to digitisation, students can still feel disconnected in online learning environments if we do not purposely design to enhance engagement. What can we do to better engage them for an enhanced student experience? Are we doing things right as teachers? Or shall we blame digital technology and return to the age of being face-to-face and using papers? Members of the executive committees from both ASCILITE and FLANZ will have their say on this topic as a panel for the first time since the Memorandum of Understanding between the two associations was signed. The session will spark some debating points and we hope to welcome everyone to attend this virtual event.
