When the World Sleeps is a vital, live-streamed conversation between three leading advocates for human rights, currently working on, and responding to the plight of Palestinian people.
Francesca Albanese is an international lawyer, specialised in human rights and the Middle East, and the UN Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in the Palestinian Territory occupied since 1967.
Antony Loewenstein is an Australian/German independent, award-winning, investigative journalist, best-selling author and film-maker. He’s currently writing a new investigative book on Israel/Palestine that will be released in 2027 with leading international publishers.
Chris Sidoti is a human rights lawyer, advocate and teacher. He currently works from Sydney, Australia, as an international human rights consultant, specialising in the international human rights system and in national human rights institutions.
Together they will speak about Palestine, genocide, international law and the attempts to sanction and silence those who speak the truth.
This conversation is hosted by Australian Palestinian Advocacy Network, Quakers, Australian Friends of Palestine, Palestinian Christians in Australian, and Palestine Solidarity Network Aotearoa.
