When Worlds Collide (In Concert: Wellington Youth Choir & Missouri State University Chorale)

Wellington Youth Choir (WYC) proudly presents When Worlds Collide, hosting internationally renowned Missouri State University Chorale (MSUC) as part of their New Zealand tour! 

Led by conductor Cameron LaBarr and collaborative pianist Parker Payne, the Missouri State University Chorale adds New Zealand to its impressive touring résumé, alongside countries including South Korea, Chile, and Argentina. The Wellington Youth Choir is a cornerstone of the Wellington arts community for young choral singers, and as a self-run choir, it’s thrilled to host such an esteemed choir to kick off its 2026 choral season.

Come along for a night of choral celebration at St Paul's Cathedral in Wellington on Wednesday, May 20, at 7 pm. When Worlds Collide will showcase repertoire from each choir before they join together to perform waiata that are significant to their countries - two choirs, one unforgettable night!
