Event description
Whenua Iti Youth Outdoor Film Festival Screening
Enjoy a selection of short films from youth adventurers and filmmakers, each offering a youth perspective on adventure, the outdoors, and our connection to the natural world. This special screening features standout film by local filmmaker Aimee Jules, following three Motueka High School female students on an epic adventure —a testament to the incredible talent emerging from our region. This event is also a fundraiser to support future youth programmes at Whenua Iti Outdoors. The bar will be open before the screening, so purchase a drink and connect with other supporters over some delicious canapés provided for the evening.
Whether you're a film lover, supporter, outdoor enthusiast, or a whānau member there to support your rangatahi, this event promises to entertain, uplift, and showcase the voices of our youth and inspire more adventures in the outdoors!
Doors open at 5pm. Film starts at 6pm.
