Description
After School Makers Club is a creative, hands-on session where kids can unwind, explore and make after the school day.
Each week introduces a new activity using a mix of second-life and traditional materials — from collage and construction to sculpture, painting and experimental making.
Designed for primary-aged kids, this session is all about:
building creative confidence
experimenting with materials and ideas
creating something uniquely their own
There’s no pressure to get it “right”, just space to try, explore and enjoy the process.
Kids are encouraged to follow their own ideas, with gentle guidance and support along the way as needed.
Perfect for kids who love to create, build, design (or just need a break from screens).

Make life easier with school pick up:
We offer a walking bus pick up service from Holy Rosary at 3.15pm + Kensington Primary at 3.30pm. Available as an add-on for a small fee during ticket purchasing.
FAQs
- What age are these sessions suitable for?
Unless otherwise stated, after school sessions are suitable for primary school age kids prep-grade 6. Both simple and extended activities are provided to ensure all are engaged.
- Can you collect my child from school?
YES. Most of our after-school sessions offer collection from both Holy Rosary at 3.15pm and Kensington Primary at 3.30pm, for a small additional fee. Students are then ready and back at WD to start class at 3.45pm.

- How long is a 5 or 10 session pass valid for?
Both our 5 and 10 passes can be used for any after-school maker sessions within the current term.
A 5xPass is valid for 3 months from purchase
A 10xPass is valid for 6 months from purchase
Note session bookings are then based on availability. So please book ahead where possible.
- Can I cancel or change a booking?
We understand that with kids - anything is possible! As a tiny business we can't offer refunds, but tickets can be transferred to another child, or where possible we can switch you to another available class, within the same term. Just email us at Hello@whimsydisco.com.au if you need.
- How do I book once I have purchased a 5 or 10 Pass?
After purchasing your pass, you’ll receive a unique booking code via email (within 24 hours).
To use your pass:
Browse available sessions
Select your preferred date
Enter your code at checkout
Your pass will automatically apply to your booking.
You don't have to book them all at once!
- Can my pass be used for friends/family?
Yes your pass is not locked to a specific child and you can book multiple tickets for each session (as long as there is availability).
