FAQs

• Can I book my child in for the whole day?

  Absolutely, kids can stay for the day anywhere we have morning + afternoon sessions scheduled. Just book for both sessions and bring a packed lunch (nut free) and we will supervise them during the lunch break. It's that simple!

• What age are these sessions for?

  Most sessions are recommended for Primary School aged children, ~5-12 years.

  Slightly younger children who have a keen interest in art/craft, ideally with some scissor skills (and are also toilet trained), are welcome to attend. If you are unsure, please feel free to reach out via via email.

• What does my child need to bring to a session?

  To ensure an easy and fun day, bring:

  • water bottle

  • snack/s

  • clothes that can get painted/dirty without causing stress

  • A packed lunch if staying the whole day

• My child gets quite anxious and/or has specific needs, what support do you offer?

  You know they will love it, but they (or you) are just too anxious to give it a go? We GET IT and are happy to help.

  We are happy to:

  • answer questions or fears, before hand or on the day (no matter how silly you think they seem!)

  • Send photos if you need to understand the space

  • Organise a quiet little tour beforehand

  • Or anything else you think could help. We are all about facing our anxieties and growing with confidence.

  And we have plenty of experience with neuro diversity both with our own kids, and other little guests too.

  Open to Australian residents aged 18+. To enter, book an eligible Whimsy Disco Spring School Holiday Program session during the promotion period.

  ✨ Each session booked = one entry.
  Book three eligible sessions and you’ll receive three entries. No additional purchase is required beyond the session booking. Cancelled or refunded bookings prior to the draw are not eligible.

  🎡 Prize: One Family Pass to the 2026 Melbourne Royal Show, generously donated by Melbourne Royal, subject to Melbourne Royal's applicable ticket conditions. The winner may select their Show day when redeeming their prize. Prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable and not redeemable for cash.

  Winner will be drawn at random at Whimsy Disco, Kensington, Victoria on Monday 14 September 2026 and contacted via the email address supplied with their booking. Entrants do not need to be present for the draw.

  If the winner cannot be identified or contacted after reasonable attempts, Whimsy Disco may redraw the prize from the remaining eligible entries.
