Enjoy a cocktail, award winning whiskies, plus four nationally acclaimed performers in an evening like no other! Whether you’re a whisky connoisseur or just curious, this event is designed to delight your senses, spark your imagination, and leave you grinning from ear to ear. Set in the eclectic and retro-glam Ziggy’s Lounge, this show is a celebration of the weird and wonderful.

Each whisky is expertly paired with a unique act, creating a sensory journey that’s as bold and unexpected as it is entertaining. Think bold flavours, glittering disco balls, and a stage alive with feathers, laughter, and surprises.

The Whiskies 

Taste and learn a bit about whiskies from Scotland, Japan, Australia, and a few more. Don’t worry, it won’t feel like a classroom though! We promise even the seasoned sipper will taste or learn something new. 

The Whimsy 

Expect a touch of classical burlesque, jaw-dropping contortion, a dash of Draglesque, and maybe even a hint of sideshow. Let’s just say: check your expectations at the door and remember—you don’t always need fire to flirt with danger.

Ren is the creative force behind The Whisky Social, a trailblazing whisky experience founded in 2015 to make whisky exploration fun, inclusive, and approachable. Known for top-shelf “edu-tainment,” The Whisky Social hosted open-minded and engaging events that spanned all corners of the whisky world. 

The Venue

Hidden above the spiral staircase at Vintage Garage in Fitzroy, Ziggy’s Disco Lounge is a retro gem that transports you straight to the extravagant 70s. With its velvet sunken lounge, glittering disco balls, and Studio 54-inspired vibes, this intimate space is perfect for a night of whimsy and wonder. This is a rare chance to experience this private venue without having to throw your own party. 

*There is no formal dress code, but we encourage our guests to get into the spirit of the event by donning their best “dopamine dapper” duds. Think bold colours, playful patterns, vintage flair, or anything that sparks joy and makes you feel fabulous.
