White Gloves Tour - Nora Heysen's Faces & Figures

Join us for a special White Gloves Tour at The Cedars, offering an intimate look into Nora Heysen's female subjects in the recently hung Faces and Figures exhibition. This premium event includes a special ‘white gloves’ experience, giving you exclusive access to a selection of Nora’s unframed drawings not included in the public display.

Join exhibition curator Jill Swann for a guided walk through this stunning exhibition in Nora’s original studio and sitting room. Focussing on self-portraits, women in her family, and the early series featuring a young Hahndorf girl, Ruth, you’ll also see portraits of Nora by other artists, along with studio drawings and preliminary works for commissions that showcase her remarkable skill and sensitivity as an artist. 

This unique experience, limited to just 10 guests, offers an in-depth and personal connection to the work and legacy of Nora Heysen, one of Australia’s most extraordinary female artists.
