Outdoor Qigong in Veale Gardens - Drop-in Classes for all Levels
6 Saturday morning sessions
Time: 8:45am to 10:00am
Dates: 12 September to 24 October
No class: Saturday 10 October
Shake off winter heaviness and step into spring with energising outdoor White Tiger Qigong in the beautiful natural setting of Veale Gardens.
Spring is the season of renewal, movement, growth and fresh energy. In Taoist Qigong and Chinese Medicine, spring is connected with the Wood Element, the Liver and Gallbladder meridians, flexibility, vision, emotional flow and the smooth movement of Qi.
This 6 week series is designed to help you spring clean your body, mind and spirit through movement, breath, meditation and connection with nature.
Each 75 minute session blends ancient Taoist Medical Qigong with modern movement science to support:
• vitality
• mobility
• balance
• posture
• breath awareness
• emotional steadiness
• nervous system regulation
• grounded wellbeing
Practising outdoors adds a powerful layer to the experience. In Taoist practice, nature is not just scenery. It is part of the medicine.
The trees, earth, fresh air, morning light and seasonal energy help us return to rhythm, presence and flow.
What is Qigong?
Qi means energy, breath or life force. Gong means skill or cultivation.
Qigong is the art of cultivating energy through movement, breath, awareness and intention.
White Tiger Qigong brings together ancient Taoist practice, Chinese Medicine, meridian theory and modern perspectives from sport and exercise science, fascia, breath mechanics and nervous system regulation.
