Event description

Is your school interested in sustainability?  Join us at the Whitehorse School Networking Meeting at Yarran Dheran education centre. Yarran Dheran is a beautiful bushland park in Mitcham, adjacent to Mulllum Mullum creek and home to echidna’s, turtles, tawny frogmouths, and platypus!   

 

This is a chance to meet like-minded teachers and principals and learn more about how Council and The Eastern Alliance for Sustainable Learning (EASL) can support your school with sustainability. It doesn't matter if you have been working on sustainability for some time or are just starting out, we invite all Whitehorse schools for the chance to connect with and share ideas with other teachers.

 

After the meeting, we will head into the park for a possum prowl, lead by Whitehorse Council’s Sabrina and Tanveer. Bring a notebook, torch, and weather dependent gear. Afternoon tea provided. We look forward to seeing you there!
