    Embrace your inner Vixen with the Whitelane Lingerie Workshop Series. Calling all dancers (burlesque and pole) or just those lingerie lovers out there! Come along and dip your toes into
    the world of lingerie construction, with this cheeky strappy body harness. Make an entire harness, just the bra, pan>es or garters, the choice is yours. Join Whitelane for this workshop to make your very own Ravyn Harness as part of the Lingerie Wardrobe Series. This is a beginner workshop with a basic foundational knowledge of sewing techniques required. 

    The skills required (or you will learn during) with this workshop are:
    • Pattern cutting
    • Working with elastic
    • Working with manikins
    • Installing lingerie hardware

    All Materials will be supplied.

    Lorrain White is the Designer and founder of Whitelane Textiles, a passionate textile artist, with a love of all things Victorian and the sparkly glamour of Burlesque. Known to some as “St Lorraine of the Blessed Corset”, her knowledge covers a wide range of technical skills within the Arts discipline, to offer her clients an all-encompassing bespoke costuming experience. Launched in 2017, Whitelane creates exquisitely embellished corsetry and accessories, working closely with a number of burlesque performer and historical re-enactors, each garment is beautifully fitted to the individual client. Whitelane also offers structured workshops to offer the beginner and intermediate sewist in a safe space to explore new techniques, building upon one’s own experience and previous Whitelane workshop content.


    These workshops have been made available to the community with the assistance of the Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF) which is a partnership between the Queensland Government and Toowoomba Regional Council to support local arts and culture in regional Queensland.
