Come join for a day of fun and creativity, and leave with a beautiful woven treasure of your own.

In this workshop you’ll learn how to whittle your own weaving needle and make a delightful rafia matt - which if we have time we can turn the sides to create a basket.

What you'll learn:

How to prepare your wood
How to carve, shape and finish your needle.
How to work with natural fibres
Two-strand twining

All materials are provided.

Any level of experience is welcome.

This workshop is for anyone who wants to slow down, connect with nature and explore weaving; or expand on what you’ve already leant.
