🤝 Who’s In Your Corner?

Building the Relationships That Shape Your Career

Your career is shaped by more than the work you do, it’s also shaped by the people who support you, advocate for you, challenge you, and open doors along the way.

Join Maria De Leon, founder of Indy Networking, for an interactive professional development workshop focused on the power of intentionally building relationships throughout your career.

During this session, Maria will explore the different types of relationships that can play a meaningful role in your professional journey, including mentors, sponsors, peers, advocates, and connectors. You’ll have the opportunity to reflect on your current network, identify where you may be missing key relationships, and learn practical ways to intentionally build and strengthen your professional connections.

What You’ll Explore:

Who is currently in your corner and how they support your career
The difference between mentors, sponsors, peers, advocates, and connectors
How to identify relationship gaps within your network
Strategies for building meaningful professional relationships
How to network with greater intention and purpose
How to turn conversations and connections into lasting relationships

Whether you’re early in your career, navigating a career transition, growing your professional network, or simply looking to be more intentional about the relationships you build, this session will give you practical tools you can use beyond the event.
