What is Montgomery Hall?
Montgomery Hall is today a beautifully restored building with three magnificent chandeliers made of Murano Glass, a stage, seating 250 people and more...
Built in 1904 this hall was used at night with its theatre-style stage surrounded by ahigh proscenium arch – became an entertainment venue presenting stage plays and film shows for the patients and staff at Perth’s first largest purpose – built hospital for the care of people with mental illness. During the day it was a dining hall for its patients.

Parking
- Drive up the hill of One Heritage Lane, Mount Claremont.
- Montgomery House will be on your left.
- Drive around the U-Shaped driveway in front of Montgomery House.
- Then turn right and drive up a lane on the side of the buildings.
- Drive to the end of the lane to the car park in front of Montgomery Hall.
