The two-day workshop

Permaculture is all about how to design and practice the regeneration of living systems. This 2-day workshop explores how to apply Permaculture ideas, practices, principles, and ethics to regenerative farming. This can be applied to projects of any scale from urban to broadacre.

This workshop will be a combination of information, ideas, imagination, practical exercises and there will be plenty of opportunities for participants to develop their own project design and planning – using the ‘Adapt’ design game and other tools.

The aim is for participants to leave the workshop both inspired and with a sound idea of what their next best steps will be.

Our facilitators

Dr Charlie Brennan & Bridget O’Brien have between them 40+ years of experience working with large-scale landscape sustainability projects as designers, project managers and educators, in the Mid North Coast of NSW & Melbourne as well as overseas. Their approach weaves Permaculture, urban farming, regenerative agriculture, design approaches, conservation, re-wilding, therapeutic horticulture, ecopsychology & deep respect for Traditional Custodians and knowledges. They travel widely visiting, consulting and teaching in Australia, Europe & US. Charlie & Bridget are the co-creators of ‘Adapt’ design game.

They are deeply passionate about food, food sovereignty, connecting and increasing resilience in our community, and improving our environment. Luigi originates from Calabria, the South of Italy and brings a wealth of experience in homesteading, hunting and traditional farming practices. Both are Permaculture Design certified and Nidya recently completed her Teaching Permaculture certificate under Rosemary Morrow, Michael Wardle & Meg McGowan.
